Been to Vie de Chateaux many time and always excellent food and service. The mussels starter and steak main course every time. The mussels are a speciality cooked in some oil and breadcrumbs on top. The steak is served with very nice chips and always tender and tasty. Good value here for what you get. Keep meaning to try the early bird menu, its quite popular. Will be back again soon. PS. Usually too full to eat desert but did try once and very good.
