The place is really charming and stimulates some philosophical thoughts due to the calm and the relaxing environment. We have been in the dependance whose kitchend and common area are useful and nice. The main building (a sort of castle) is impressive but we did not have the chance to visit the rooms there. The park around is also nice and ideal for nice walks in the local nature. The space is not missing due to the facilities around and the location is also strategic for the position not really far from the Cpital of Sweden. I had the feeling i wanty to come back in here sometimes.

The restaurant were told beforehead that I'm vegan and I had excellent food, for lunch, dining and breakfast - and coffee break too! I'm impressed!
The rooms in the castle is all different furnished, beautiful and comfortable beds.
Stjärnholms slott belongs to Strängnäs diocese and have a lovely chapel with lunch prayers and masses.

Off the beaten track, stylish hotel, nice rooms. Not the typical business hotel. Excellent diner not too much choice but what is on the menu is good and the menu changes daily. Breakfast also good, but only from 7:30 onwards (a little late)

Room OK, service at reception desk OK. Food quality OK to good. Cleaning OK.
But be aware that the kitchen and service staff is clearly undermanned. The price level of a stay indicates another expectation. Here the management must take care of this issue if they want to be considered as a first class hotel to back the name SLOTT....

Room Tip: Third floor back side, binoculars included on room

Our family of two adults and two children stayed in two doubles in the main castle building. One of the rooms was very spacious and had a genuine 'castle feel' to it and also a great view. On the negative the free Internet connections was very poor/unusable (maybe due to thick walls). The other room was smaller but still nice. However, the walls in the smaller room seemed paper thin as we could easily 'enjoy' our neighbors watching TV, laughing, talking etc. The restaurant served a good meal by friendly staff and breakfast was good. Our kids really enjoyed the surroundings with a nice garden with a playground. In addition there is a playroom in the main building.

Room Tip: The main castle building provides a genuine feel
