The same amazing views with a bit less of a price tag. A wide variety of homely food and great outdoor seating in the summer.

Midday arrival in Jersey, needed a fill me up snack so headed to Wayside Cafe.

Ordered an all day breakfast. Friendly staff, good grub and definitely value for money. Menu was varied and ample without being overpowering and catered for all tastes.

Also enjoyed the post-snack entertainment on the beach involving two dog walkers. After exchanging insults and a few physical blows one ended up very irate and wet having had to retrieve his dog from the sea! The innocent party continued his early afternoon dog walk.

Great location with marvellous views. You couldn't be much closer to the sea without swimming in it. Cafe atmosphere and very popular so can get crowded. Probably good idea to book. Quite basic and excellent parking but maybe needs a little TLC. The food is very good with plenty of fresh sea food on offer including Moule Mariniere. The fish and chips are excellent and there is a basic wine choice. An excellent variety of cakes and desserts also available. Best to visit in the warm weather so as to sit outside.

I had the vegetarian breakfast but it is not good...more like deep fried greasy feel to the food; hash browns and veg sausages were well cooked to death, coldish beans etc.

Service was ok but a little bland so overall would not return here as food was very so so.....shame as it had been recommended.

I've raved about this place in the past, perhaps because it was a lovely day been there May ,August,November, and now February. The menu just doesn't change and now because it's quiet everything seems to be pre cooked before you order, pleasurable staff but not very cheerful, perhaps the weather didn't help!
