Went to Moitas on Friday night with family. The food was very, very good. Great sardines! The people who run the restaurant are friendly and efficient. An enjoyable evening.

Didn't have to book, we just walked in, and so glad we did. This was the best meal we had all week. As it was before 7pm they had an "early bird" 3 courses for under £17. Brilliant food and no small portions. Even the wine wasn't over priced, hence we had 2 bottles and took our time. The place was full by 7-30pm. Well liked by the locals which is always a good sign. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

we went here for dinner as a couple after walking along the promenade. we went for the special set menu, 3 courses for roughly £17 which was fantastic value. I had prawns/lasagne and crème Brule and my husband had potato skins/pork fillet and icecream. We enjoyed every morsel, the location is fantastic on the seafront just a short walk from town and the service was brilliant. Front of house team are a lovely couple who made sure we were welcomed and looked after. A great restaurant for people of all ages looking for good comforting food. bathrooms had full range of toiletries for customers to use and we got chocolates with our bill-loved these old fashioned but thoughful touches!!!
Tip: stairs to entrance so not sure if accessible for people with mobility problems.
