Lovely hotel. Good staff who always try to please and are very welcoming.
Foods gorgeous, special! Finer touches to it. Service couldn't be better or faster.
Only disappointment is that the menu doesn't seem to change. So through the week we ate at le Gouffre the Greek restaurant and cafe which is fab and le Reunion which also is good.
Don't bother with the Deerhound if you like good tasting food served well and in a classy environment.

The setting is lovely, down picturesque little lanes and the hotel itself is very well presented. We went for dinner. Staff were friendly but service was rather slow. Food very good if a little too "Masterchef". The bread and amuse-bouche were wonderful but the rest of the dishes were a little too pretentious to really deliver on flavour - pictures on a plate and some rather odd flavour combinations. Overall, content fell slightly short of presentation, but it is still a lovely place.

Just returned from a 3 night break at this hotel.

Staff were very polite, food presentation was 1st class, the room we had was very comfortable with plenty of room.
Couple of small minor things in room, broken drawer handle, shower leaked and the over the bath shower control did not work (room 109) but did not spoil the overall experience of our break at this lovely hotel!
Also worth noting that the free wi fi worked very well.

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel. Service is first class - professional and friendly. What it isn't is your everyday business hotel and there are some compromises as a result (inefficient air conditioning units). Not all rooms have baths so if you are keen on baths, as I am, make sure you check!
