We were a group of 3 friends staying for a long weekend. The owner was helpful and answered queries very quickly, she made us feel like she valued our business. The cottage is great- spacious, all the facilities you need and the location is brilliant- what a beautiful area and the main village is easy walking distance. Really happy with our stay and we would definitely book again.

“Good cottage with plenty of room”

Perfect cottage for exploring north devon and the beautiful beaches nearby in Croyde. Lots of room inside, nice to have separate dining room and the bathroom is enormous! Parked our car (golf) in the very handy garage so parking not a problem for us, but the friendly neighbour did warn us about traffic wardens if we parked on the road. Kitchen well equipped and really good to have wifi. Lovely idea to have milk and cake on arrival, very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend for family holidays in devon.

Very pleased with the cottage. Clean and tidy with good facilities provided. Parking can be awkward-already got one ticket, but we were warned of this! Definitely would like to come here again.

“Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed May 9, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This was a very nice cosy and warm cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable. Apple Tree Cottage was only a short walk into the centre of Braunton. I would definitely book it again if I needed somewhere to stay in Braunton.

“Cosy and comfortable cottage in convenient location - ideal base for exploring the north Devon coast!”
Reviewed November 10, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

On arrival early evening the house was lovely and warm. We also found the house very well equipped and there's loads of space - the pictures don't do it justice, you must read the description!

Within a very short walk, there is loads of choice for eating out or takeaway in Braunton town centre, as well as lots of lovely shops to explore during the day.

It's a great place to visit all year round but we'd like to visit again maybe in the summer to take full advantage of the great beaches close by and next time bring the bikes!

“Comfortable home in a fab location”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We stayed for a weekend on very short notice as we decided to extend our west country break. The owner was very accommodating, booking us in a day before we were due to arrive without fuss.
The house is traditionally furnished and comfortable- great comfy beds in big bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to cook a full roast on the Sunday.
The location is this properties best draw- right down the road from the beautiful beach of Saunton, great to surf or just get blown along on a windy day as we did. There are some nice pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, we had lunch at 'At One', the food was excellent and very reasonable (they also have a very good wine list :-) )
All in all a very cosy, welcoming home, in spitting distance of beautiful beaches, great restaurants and fantastic surf. We hope to return.
