The caravan was great very well equipped and spacious and in a great location we had such a lovely holiday and will be booking again in the future
We found the quality, standard and cleanliness of Sea Haze to be excellent and we certainly would like to stay there again! The booking process was very easy and we had excellent communication from Jane, the owner. The living areas and bathroom (in particular) were a very generous size, with the bedrooms being standard static caravan size, but there was an ensuite toilet off the main bedroom which we found to be very useful with 2 adults and 3 teenagers staying! There is an extensive balcony running around most of the caravan, which was one of the biggest that we saw on the whole site, but we didn't have chance to take advantage of it, due to the time of the year that we stayed. The nearest beach is accessible in about 10 minutes from the site, via a path and quite steep steps, but worth doing when you get there. There are also scenic walks from the site. Brixham is about a fifteen minute walk downhill, but it is a reasonable taxi fare back up and there is a fairly good bus service. The park is a good size and we found all the staff friendly, the clubhouse/bar/restaurant quite new and good and the entertainment was a few notches above the usual holiday park offering! All in all, we had a fab time!
Just returned from a fabulous stay at this fabulous, well equipped caravan with gorgeous views. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely recommend to our family and friends and will definitely think of returning next year.
Cannot fault it, Jane was only a phone call away if we needed her, but, we didn’t. Fantastic much deserved holiday x
The caravan is in a great location, we spent many mornings looking out of the window to the sea or sat on the lovely decked area, it was clean and tidy and spacious for our family of two adults and three children.
Nearby Brixham harbour is only a short drive away and is easily within walking distance of the site, we also found it great to walk down to the beach at St Marys bay.
We would defiantly recommend staying at 'sea haze'
We (family of 4) stayed at the Sea Haze, South Bay Holiday Park for a week in August. The caravan is a really good size, comfortable, nicely decorated. It was very clean when we arrived and has pretty much everything you need for your stay. There isn't a lot to do on site, the pool area is ok, one small shop and the quality of food in the clubhouse is average. You do have to get over there early (5.30ish) if you want to get a good seat for the evening. Childrens entertainment starts around this time, then you have the bingo about 7pm. The adult entertainment doesn't start until 9.45pm.
You can walk into Brixham town/harbour, 20 minute walk downhill (reception will give you directions) and a taxi back costs around £5.00. There are some really lovely little shops, cafes, restaurants by the harbour. We had the best fish and chips at the 'Old Market House' and if you love a cream tea, then 'Claws Indoors' is the place to go. Also, have a look in 'Saxty's, an amazing little shop full of wooden carvings and unusual nik naks. You can also get a boat over to Paignton for the day, they run every half hour or so. Only costs a couple of quid each. Paignton is lovely too. Lots to do.
