I've just read the ' terrible' review left on trip advisor after visiting the winery and I cannot disagree more. This is a small business not a large mechanised factory. I've seen both and to be honest small is better. The owner told us his story and showed us the processes in making the wines he produces. It was very interesting and we understood that due to the time of the season the grape weren't ready to process. The small set up means that this process is much more personal, in a large factory tour you get told and see the same stuff only without the personal touch and on a larger scale. The samples at the end are no larger.
It was a very interesting afternoon and I will not be buying French champagne again, the English sparkling is just as good!
