“Fantastic location, very friendly hosts and beautiful cottage - very impressed.”

My wife and I stayed with our 10 year old daughter and her friend. Piers greeted us and showed us round and he couldn't have been more welcoming. My daughter and her friend were ecstatic at being able to help clean out the animals and 'help' Sue who was most patient. We were really happy to stay here and the log fire being lit on arrival was a very nice touch. Very friendly hosts, beautiful area, loads to do including bracing February dips in the sea and river. We were very impressed with the cottage, very nice and great to come back to after some beautiful days walking nearby. We would love to come back again, thank you.

“Great location, excellent accommodation, warm welcome”

We arranged a last minute short break for ourselves and our three children to The Barn and were very pleased we did. It's a very well renovated accommodation in an ideal quiet location, within an easy drive of Dartmouth and Salcombe. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and felt relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. The log burner made for very cosy evenings.

The children loved the easy access to the farm and animals, especially collecting the fresh eggs for breakfast.

We wish we could have stayed longer, but will return. We would highly recommend this location.

“We loved it!”

We stayed at The Barn just before Christmas last year and when we arrived were charmed to discover a Christmas tree waiting for us. We were in need of tranquility, relaxation and a bit of spoiling, and we got everything we needed and more here. It was sparkling clean, warm, cozy with a wood burning stove and the owners were welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked and the art on the walls was a pleasure to look at. We would most certainly recommend a stay at Cotmore farm. Our grandchildren visited while we were there and loved the cottage. My husband and I visited the piglets too. Utter charm for all of us.

This was a great find, as a couple with a small baby. The Barn was very comfortable and well equipped. We loved it as there were farm animals on the door step and could pick fresh eggs in the morning. Our hosts were very welcoming and the location was fantastic.

We'd often been close to this part of Devon but mostly on our way to Cornwall. What a gem! Stunning coastlines, great restaurants and some lovely towns with lots of independent shops. Clean beaches with a choice of pebbles to the East, sand to the West. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Sensibly laid out with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and a large comfortable open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge upstairs.
Don't forget to try their homemade bacon and sausage!
We had a very relaxing week here with the children and look forward to coming here again. Highly recommended.

What a great find! We found it on Trip Advisor. We really enjoyed our stay on this working farm. The accommodations were very comfortable, although for an American, the bathrooms to some getting used to. The farm is located in a very scenic part of Devon and many attractions are within easy reach. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Agatha Christie's vacation home.
