Well what can I say, it was fantastic right from the moment we pulled up till going home. Carol came out to greet us on arrival and such a lovely lady. The cottage was warm and cosy and the kitchen was well equipped and didn't fall short of anything. The beds were very comfortable .
Very well recommended and our dog also loved it there, a good long garden.
Would go again.

Just returned from a really enjoyable weekend break in this lovely cottage. The views are simply outstanding and there are many walks within the area. It has a fantastic pub just a stone throws away up a little hill, where the staff are very friendly and the food it good (The Ship Aground). Colin the owner was very prompt in all correspondence regarding the break and Carol at No 1 was delightful - 'Thank you for the Cream Tea on Arrival'!

We will definitely return to this beautiful cottage in such an idyllic little village.

Fantastic position, lovely scenery. 4Ada's Terrace was perfect for our needs. All information supplied by Colin was spot on and Carol at number 1 supplied the keys and also the very welcoming cream tea. Will definitely be going back

Warm, cozy, home from home. breath taking views. lovely welcome from lady key holder who left welcome card and Devon cream tea. We were both very sad to leave at the end of our comfortable and relaxing break (we both wanted to move in on a permanent basis).

“A wonderful holiday to celebrtate our golden wedding.”
Reviewed 9 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

4 Ada's Terrace is a lovely cottage with beautiful views across the sea and all the comforts of home. It has a sheltered, sunny garden with a seating area at the front and a small rear patio that catches the morning sun. It is ideal for dog owners with lots of beautiful walks starting right from the front door. We walked endlessly on Mortehoe point and our dog loved going down to Grunta beach to swim. The cottage is spotlessly clean with a roomy kitchen, everything you could possibly need and a cosy sitting room which looks out over the sea, catching the sunsets. The bathroom is clean with a new shower over a large bath. The double bedroom has a new, wonderfully comfy bed. It is very useful having a private parking bay on the roadside at the end of the front garden. All communication with Colin was prompt and helpful and Carol, who keeps the key, was always handy to give assistance and made us very welcome, the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful holiday in every way.

“A lovely clean cottage in a fantastic location for walking and admiring the sea views”

We have just come back from a lovely weekend at this cottage. The weather was kind to us which meant we spent many hours exploring the costal paths with our dog. Some beautiful scenery. The cottage is well positioned for this. It was clean, warm and comfy. Carol the housekeeper made us feel very welcome and was on hand. On arrival a cream tea was waiting for us. A lovely touch. The cottage is well equiped for a weekend break with the essentials you might need. Communication with the owner has been superb, very flexible and accommodating. We would definately recommend this cottage to family and friends, and also hope to return ourselves. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
