Went here for a get together meal, with my in laws lord and lady Clements ( they tend to not eat out in village pubs, so it's a compliment to the hosts that they enjoyed it) and some friends. Lovely service, lovely food. Will not hesitate to return

Sunday lunch for 6 of us. The food was amazing. I had the roast lamb (£3 supplement), it was heavenly. Family chose belly pork, roast beef, turkey. All beautifully cooked. The broccoli in blue cheese sauce was a winner. Lovely vegetables, fab gravy. The puddings were also of a very high quality. Friendly service, log burner, a great place and would highly recommend.

Booked for evening meal on a saturday, and situated 20 mins from Tiverton it was fairly easy to find in a small village. Very friendly greeting from the young staff and shown to a lovely table near a cosy woodburner. Service was great, not too rushed and the menu selection was very good too. Onion tart was really nice, followed by spicy sausages and plenty of veg. Really tasty food and the wine list was good and reasonably priced as well. Staff were so helpful it was a lovely suprise. Definately reccomend this lovely place.

We arrived an hour late for our sunday lunch, after our walk took a bit longer than expected! We apologised profusely and we certainly didn't expect a sunday lunch but quite the opposite happened. Tina was very accommodating and what was to follow was the best sunday roast Ever. My husband and i both had the lamb which was delicious, fresh and plenty of it. We literally didn't think this could get any better until the puddings arrived Apple tart( i could have eaten 3 of these best pastry ever!)and cherry eton mess also delicious. Speaking to Nick and Tina at the end, they are so lovely and passionate about what they do and clearly a very good team. My only regret is that i do not live in the village and sadly a 3 hour drive away! However we will be back once the b and b is up and running. We are massive foodies and this is way up there for us. Great staff too. If i was a local I'd be here every week.
