We have stayed in many houses over the past 7 seven years as a group of families and this has to be among the best. We were 6 adults, 5 kids, 2 babies and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us and could have fitted another family in easily. The rooms were all en-suite and had tv/dvds in them. The kitchen was large and although 1 reviewer stated that the oven was small we manged to cook a roast dinner for all of us! The house was spacious and extremely well equipped. There was nothing we couldn't find (apart from a lemon squeezer!)
We couldn't work our shower but a phone call to the managers sorted this fairly quickly. The garden was large (and a bit overgrown) and the driveway great for the kids to scoot round. It is situated in a rural location with forest walks nearby and within a short drive of shops and the coast. The children want to go back again!
If you are a large group with dogs and kids, this house is ideal. Not 5* luxury but comfortable, practical and a home from home.

i had a booking but no phone so it was necessary to send an email to arrange the payment for the next day. a chance i had power in my ipod.
the place is quiet, not expensive, clearly cheaper than what i saw elsewhere with the same services, whith a plus: a small fridge near the service shack.
at 7 min. from the station (bike)
it was ok for me, with a bike, to visit the tank museum.
the manager was kind enough to let me put my stuff on the ground until the afternoon the last day so i could return finish my visit to the museum.

the camping has also houses to rent i think.

It is a very nice house but it needs some work doing. The garden could be so nice but isn't. The house has some very strange rooms. One has five bed's in it. The kitchen only has a small cooker. Not much fun if there are more than four of you. A real shame considering the amount of money you've spent on staying a week. Also the Bbq area leaves a lot to be desired.
