I recently stayed at the lodge with my family and we had an amazing time. The whole booking was straight forward. Michelle was very helpful and was happy to answer all the questions that I had.
We were greeted by Denise and Victor who were very friendly and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and to be honest it was far better than the pictures that we saw online. The beds were very comfortable and certain family members told me they had the best sleep ever.
I would definitely consider going back to stay at Woodlands again!!!! I would highly recommend the Lodge to anyone who is considering visiting Dorset as a large group.

A big spacious house, with loads of en suite rooms and plenty of space for big groups. Easily accessible and about a mile from the local pub and Wool train station. Excellent for a stag with loads of Coasteering options and other activities.

Fantastic retreat in beautiful, enclosed surroundings. We used these lodges for a long family weekend reunion. Perfectly held a family of 33 & 4 dogs (2015). Brilliant kitchen and dining facilities, warm, comfortable and clean with wonderful, helpful staff. It was so good we all went back again this year, which also had the use of hot tubs which was a fantastic addition. Would definitely recommend.

We have stayed in many houses over the past 7 seven years as a group of families and this has to be among the best. We were 6 adults, 5 kids, 2 babies and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us and could have fitted another family in easily. The rooms were all en-suite and had tv/dvds in them. The kitchen was large and although 1 reviewer stated that the oven was small we manged to cook a roast dinner for all of us! The house was spacious and extremely well equipped. There was nothing we couldn't find (apart from a lemon squeezer!)
We couldn't work our shower but a phone call to the managers sorted this fairly quickly. The garden was large (and a bit overgrown) and the driveway great for the kids to scoot round. It is situated in a rural location with forest walks nearby and within a short drive of shops and the coast. The children want to go back again!
If you are a large group with dogs and kids, this house is ideal. Not 5* luxury but comfortable, practical and a home from home.
