We sat outside with 2 small children and bought some ice cream...the location is wonderful, relaxing..a quaint little country shop and I definitely plan to go back again to try something else very soon.

A really nice place with good service. The curried roasted cauliflower soup was delicious. I will definitely eat here again.

Saturday morning. Menu indicated that breakfast was served until 3pm with no break and lunch from 12pm. We ordered tea and asked the waitress to return to take a food order. She said nothing about any issue with ordering food. At 11.35 am we asked for sausage sandwiches and then she came back to say that no food orders could be taken until 12pm so that the cooks could have a break. Disappointing and very badly organised.
As we already had our drinks we were stuck with having a piece of cake which as it turned out was nothing special and extremely overpriced!

Visited with a couple of friends for afternoon tea. Strawberry Jam very average, cream not clotted, scones dry/stale/ luke warm tea.
Dirty table which was ring stained, flaky paint surface (no not shabby chic, just shabby!) Overpriced. Tea for three and three scones with cream and jam £16.50 Only redeeming feature was view of Minster. Many other places in Wimborne offer much better value.

My husband & another couple decided to try Friday evening tapas..... what a rip off!! We each chose a dish with 1 extra.. bread came 1st, half a slice each with a tiny pot of olives & feta & the 5 dishes followed. There were 4 items in each dish & the portions were tiny... we worked out with 1 drink each that this was costing £70 all 4 of us could have eaten this again but declined, payed the bill & left. As we were all still hungry & planned on drinking afterwards we decided to go & get some takeaway cheesy chips before heading to the pub. Whilst we understand that tapas are little dishes of various things, each dish was costing £6-7 with 4 items in each dish. absolute rip off to say the least! If we had carried on ordering dishes the bill would have been extortionate & the most expensive tasters I have ever tried .... never again!!
