“Excellent, spacious, clean and comfortable apartments with lovely views of the sea.”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We hired two two-bedroom apartments - with two adults and two children in each. We were very pleased with the accommodation.

“Home away from home in a great location”
Reviewed January 14, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We travelled as a party of three families staying in the two large apartments. Even though there were 6, mostly adults, in each apartment it didn't feel overcrowded which was a god send as the weather was wet and windy and we could even appreciate the spectacular views of the stormy seas from the bay window which directly overlook the coast. The apartments are nicley decorated, very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of crockery and utensils to cook for a crowd. Glynis and Harold were very pleasant and excellent hosts and were very accommodating as regards arrival and departure times and offered us an extra camp bed and fixed a minor problem with a light bulb immediately

Very comfortable. Nothing lacking in terms of appointment. Wonderful views. Use of the decking overlooking the sea was ideal. Warm welcome by owners. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing break.

“Brilliant apartment, service and view”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Stayed here for two nights and had no complaints. The reception from the owners was excellent - tea, milk and biscuits awaiting us in our apartment. The apartment itself was excellent, with a view to die for!! A home away from home

“We adore Largy”

This was our 4th visit with Gladys and Harold. Need I say more? This is a lovely, clean and beautifully appointed accommodation in an idyllic location overlooking the sea. It’s only a few picturesque minutes' walk to local shops in Carnlough. These apartments are ideal for exploring the magnificent coastal route, the inland villages and glens, whilst still within easy reach of Belfast. We adore the location and had a fantastic break (even though we were enveloped in low cloud for 1 day) . This time, we were allocated their 1st/2nd floor “Ardclinis” apartment (adjusted for 2 persons by closing the twin ensuite facility). Fantastic views night and day.
Gladys and Harold were very obliging with our checkin- checkout timing.
Booking and key pick-up is quite easy since the owners live nearby. They were not around when we arrived a bit late (5.30 pm), but they provided their mobile number to deliver keys within a few minutes.
We didn’t need to or use their WiFi system (hey we’re here on holiday!!), and so can't form an opinion on that. The TV was fine once Harold explained the remotes. We would recommend this lovely place to any one wanting the quiet life exploring the Antrim glens!

“Truly amazing stay”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

We were after a 4 day relaxing stay before visiting extended family further west and it certainly was. The Ardclinus apartment was great, well maintained and plenty of room over 2 floors with excellent facilities. The children shared an ample twin bed ensuite and our room was simply amazing and the view splendid. Local walks very good to the town and small harbour, a good drive round the bay to Larne and onto Belfast, took in the Titanic museum. On return to apartment a beautiful drive back along coastal road and even the dolphins appeared in the bay. Hills nearby for some good walking even for the kids. Will certainly keep Largy coastal apartments bookmarked as one of our favourite places to stay. Thank you Gladys for tips and places to go.
