We stayed at Oaklands for 3 nights and it was very comfortable, the house is beautiful with antique furniture and large rooms, our bedroom was at the back of the house and very spacious, the ensuite was small but it did the trick.
There was a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was very comfortable.
Andrew and Helen were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely and the dining room is really special.
The only gripe we had was that the plumbing was noisy, it was loud enough to wake us up but luckily enough it only occurred around the time we should have been getting up anyway!
All in all it is a lovely B&B and I would recommend it as a good base for exploring around this area.
