We visited this pub/restaurant on our last night's stay in Scotland. It was quite near our accommodation. My wife is in a wheelchair but that didn't seem to be a problem for access. I don't know if there were any accessible toilets. We both had traditional pub food dishes, steak and chips and macaroni cheese. While the food was perfectly adequate, it was the service that I particularly liked and why I have given this restaurant 4 stars. The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our needs. It was quite busy with families and couples the night we were there, but the staff seemed to coping fine with everybody's orders.

Watts is a regular haunt where I meet up with a friend to share a bottle of wine and have a snack. Often when we go, it's not too busy, which is good for us, but probably not so good for business. The indoor bar/restaurant is of a traditional style and could do with updating for a more modern feel that would probably attract more customers. External tables/seating are good in warm weather and always busy when the sun's out. Food is traditional bar fare, good portions and tasty. Barman is always friendly and welcoming.

Popped in as we're staying locally. The restaurant area is located within the bar area. Quickly seated and drinks ordered.

Menu was good pub food based and keenly priced. Decor a bit dated but clean and tidy.

We had a sirloin steak with skin in fries and salad. Cooked medium as requested. King prawn salad and Mac and Cheese. Food was of good portion and tasty.

3 desserts ordered. One cheesecake, one sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate fudge cake. All with ice cream.

All in a very good meal, good value with good service.

Turned up without booking. Friendly welcome and very good service. The meal was lovely, substantial and beautifully hot. Wanting to do all things scottish, I simply had to try the Cullen Skink soup starter, followed by Chiken with Haggis. I was so full there was no room for a pud!
Great atmosphere with our era (60s) music playing pleasantly and quietly in the background.
