“A perfect home from home for a Speyside Malt Whisky or fishing trip.”
Reviewed October 24, 2019 for a stay in June 2019

Collie Farmhouse is situated just 6 miles or so from Malt Whisky heaven at Macallan and just a few miles more from many other famous Speyside distilleries such as Glenfarclas, Cardhu and Glenfiddich. The list of phone numbers in the house includes that of a super helpful local taxi firm who are very happy to ferry a party to, from and round the distilleries. The owners are two of the most helpful and friendly people you will find anywhere and are happy to put parties in touch with amazing local cooks who can cook for guests, whether for just one special meal or all week. We have stayed here many times over the years and it remains an exceptionally comfortable place to stay for small parties up to 12 people. We love the drying. On for outdoor kit.

“Perfect luxury accommodation for 12”
Reviewed June 18, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We rented Collie Farmhouse in June 2018 for the 15th time. It is just the perfect place for a group to stay in this wonderful part of Scotland. The owner and the staff on the estate are simply the nicest and most helpful people you will ever find. We were even helped to find a chef to cook for our party for the week.
Little touches that make a big difference are the visits by the housekeeper 6 mornings per week to clean and make up the beds and the additional fridge and freezer in the separate drying room.
Very many thanks for another wonderful and exceedingly comfortable stay.

“Beautiful family home in an idyllic location.”
Reviewed May 3, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

I have been coming to Collie Farmhouse for a number of years, as part of a larger party and it is a joy to stay here every time. It is a lovely, spacious, family home, beautifully furnished, with all the amenities you could want, in a fabulous 'Swallows and Amazons' location. I cannot wait until I am back there again next year!

“A great fishing base”

My wife and I stayed at Collie Farmhouse this September as part of a fishing party organised by Lincolnshire friends. We had a great time. The house is big , comfortable and warm and well equipped. It is spacious with lovely gardens going down to the River Spey on one of its most beautiful and exclusive salmon beats. There is a fantastic rod room with space for drying fishing or walking gear, and the lounges, dining room and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The location is in a beautiful river valley yet not far from the coast or local towns. If I'm lucky enough to fish here again this is where we'll stay.

“Memorable week at Collie Farmhouse”
Reviewed October 1, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Our fishing party stay at Collie Farmhouse was a very enjoyable comfortable experience ideally situated for the fishing.
The large well appointed kitchen was appreciated by our Cook and our meals in the large well equipped character dining room were enjoyed by all.
The two comfortable lounges were super for a large party.
It proved to be a 'home from home' experience.
6 double bedrooms meant the whole party of 9 were comfortably catered for.
We would thoroughly recommend this Farmhouse in such a beautiful tranquil area of the Spey valley.

“Very large, comfortable farmhouse and perfect for the river”
Reviewed September 29, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed in Collie farmhouse earlier this week. Our party of fishermen found it to be very comfortable, homely, and well appointed. In fact it feels more like a home than a rental property. We were also very well looked after by the owners who take a personal interest in making you welcome. I would recommend Collie Farmhouse to anyone looking for a great place to stay to explore the Spey valley. Whether fishing locally as we were, or as a base to visit any of Speyside's attractions, distilleries, etc, Collie farmhouse is an ideal place to stay.
