“Beautiful cottage in a lovely location”
Reviewed June 28, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Beautiful and very comfortable cottage, ideal for exploring the Moray Firth and Speyside. Hosts very helpful and welcoming, on hand if you need anything but will give you all the space you need. I left a drawerful of clothes behind and they were very obliging in forwarding it on without quibble. Plug-in router booster might help wifi signal but that's my only criticism! Will be happy to visit again.

Thank you for your comments and advice. We have now installed a wifi range extender and it gives good coverage throughout the cottage.

“Wonderful & relaxing holiday in Bonnie Scotland”
Reviewed May 26, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Steve & I returned to Scotland from Australia, to visit friends. We had been there previously & loved the accommodation so much, decided to make a return visit. It is a peaceful place & in the middle of wonderful scenic areas.

“Perfection. A perfect cottage in an Idyllic location.”
Reviewed November 3, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

An Idyllic escape from a mad world. We cannot fault the accomadation or the location. The cottage is set in lovely grounds with outstandingly beautiful views. It is decorated in a very tasteful manner and has EVERYTHING you could possibly require, to cater for any length of stay.
Owners Stu & Heather made us feel totally at home & welcome, and were on hand to help If we required any assistance . A roaring log fire and homemade shortbread biscuits and welcome pack greeted us on arrival.
The Area has so much to see, that sadly a week was not enough. Outstanding sceneary all along the coast , especially Spey Bay, where we caught a glimpse of Dolphins out at sea. Fort George & the Highland Regiment Musuem, and The Culloden battle ground both were very impressive and imformatative and took us four hours each to visit. Around the Loch Ness area we visited Urquhart Castle, the Loch Ness Musuem, Clansman Museum, Foyers Falls and enjoyed seeing wild deer and the beautiful countryside. At Aviemore the Funicular railway, Cairngorm Reindeers & the Highland folk museum provided another great day out. To finish off, a cheese factory , whisky distillieries, tartan shops and many more attractions filled the gaps.

“Superb accommodation and location”
Reviewed July 8, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

America cottage is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break. It's comfortable, cosy, well equipped and a lovely place to return to after exploring the surroundings. We know this area well and this is the by far the best place we have stayed and we would recommend it to anyone. Stu and Heather work very hard to maintain the extensive grounds and keep everywhere looking lovely; we appreciated the shortbread, flowers and supplies awaiting us and also the friendly welcome we received. We definitely hope to return there, it's just perfect!
