“Brilliant seaside cottage, perfect for visiting the stunning Moray coast”
Reviewed December 9, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A brilliant, cosy 3 bedroomed cottage with 2 bedrooms upstairs (with great views over the beach) - one twin and one double and a double master bedroom downstairs with private ensuite. While still a cottage, it is a bit tardis-like inside - it is bigger than it seems from the outside, with a sitting/TV room, a kitchen/dining room and a separate, sunny conservatory that opens onto a small courtyard garden. We enjoyed a number of lovely lunches outside in the courtyard in bright sunshine, breathing in the sea air. There is also a useful, foldaway clothes line for appropriate weather.
Carol, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, and thoughtfully provided a little welcome hamper of food for us. The cottage is well-equipped with a washing machine and an ironing board and plenty of space for clothes.
We really loved staying here - it was our second time and we are booked to returning next summer. The cottage is situated right by Lossie East Beach, the most glorious stretch of unspoilt sand and sand-dunes - absolutely stunning. There are many other gorgeous beaches nearby on the Moray coast, as well as cycle trails and walks. Bikes can be hired down near the Marina area in Bike Revolution - a really helpful and friendly bunch.
Miele's newsagent nearby does delicious ice-cream and the Harbour Lights along the Lossie Marina area is great for dinner on a Saturday night or lunch and breakfast. A walk along the West Beach to Aroma cafe and the Covesea Lighthouse is also highly recommended (about 45 minutes' walk).

Beautiful cottage with views of the sea , situated in seatown ,very comfortable and clean with the added bonus of one of the bedroom being on the ground floor which is great if you have a elderly or disabled person with you which was a big bonus for us . In walking distance from local restaurants and pub. Beautifully furnished plenty of room even with 6 adults

“Fantastic Cottage.”
Reviewed June 25, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location, this cottage is yards away from the beach and has stunning views. We stayed for two weeks recently a family of six adults shared the cottage, it is a few minutes walk from the esplanade which has restaurants and bars but is totally unspoilt. The cottage has minimal traffic passing by normally the odd dog walker or residents from a nearby site you wouldn't ' know it half the time. Top tip if you are tall Mind yer Heed Upstairs it is after all a cottage with steep eaves but you soon get used to it. I would recommend this Cottage if you want a quiet holiday where the only noise is birdsong .

“Well equipped well located and made really welcome”
Reviewed February 28, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Located in Lossiemouth Moray Scotland this old fisherman's cottage offers good accommodation and is so well equipped you just need to turn up and enjoy your stay. If you have a car all the better as most of northern Scotland is within reach or there are lots of things to do if you do not have a car, right in front of the cottage there is a wonderful sandy beach which if you are in one of the upstairs bedrooms greets you when you look out of the window

“Beautiful cottage ,wonderful position”
Reviewed November 9, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Had a wonderful time here in October 2016 ,went back to my hometown for the first time in 24 years ,the position of the cottage took me back to my childhood right across from the East Back where we used to play as children. The downstairs en suite bedroom was ideal for my sis in law who is disabled ,beautiful cottage with everything you can think of ,the owner Carol has put a lot of thought into furnishing it,we hope to go back in the summer months with our two grandchildren ,the beach across the bridge is ideal for wee ones,Thank you to Carol for the welcome pack and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch ,we can see why this cottage is so popular ,will never forget our week here.Once again thank you Carol x

“Absolutely gorgeous cottage in stunning beach location”
Reviewed November 9, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed here for a week during August (late review) and had a brilliant time. The cottage is just gorgeous and a bit like a tardis inside with 2 reception rooms and a bright and warm conservatory. It also has a lovely little yard out the back with a table and chairs which also caught the sun. It was well furnished and had everything we needed. Washing machine great (though no tumble dryer but there is a washing line out the back). Very cosy and comfortable and most importantly - very clean. You can tell that great care is taken of this holiday home. The owner, Carol, was very helpful and easily contactable.
Its location is perfect - right across a quiet road from one of the most beautiful, long, unspoilt, sandy beaches in the UK.
Lossiemouth is a small, friendly town with all the basics that you need, (including delicious ice creams at Miele's on the beach front) and Elgin has more shopping five miles away, including an excellent Tesco superstore. You can hire bikes in Lossiemouth near the harbour area and cycle through the wood trails nearby or take them to the Roseisle beach/forest trails a few miles away - another beauty spot not to be missed.
We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and have re-booked already for next year!
