If your into comfort, friendliness and amazing views this place ticks the boxes. Only stayed 1 night due to work but was impressed by the location and welcome made by the owner. Just a single room, tea coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits with comfy bed and fully working t.v. Only downfall is it was not ensuite but the numerous bathrooms available were clean and tidy. Didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on food, the sleepy town centre is 5/10 mins walk away everybody here is so relaxed and friendly. LARGS IS LUSH

I stayed for just one night at Broom Lodge. I found it to be clean, with comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. There are beautiful views to be had of the Isle of Cumbrae, with the snow-capped hills of Arran beyond. Owner Seona was professional and welcoming. An enjoyable stay, overall.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a sea view to enhance your stay. The views are stunning.

Great views from the front over Cumbrae, Bute and Aarran. Five minutes from all central amenities. Excellent breakfast-fresh fruit, variety of cereals and freshly cooked meals. Warm welcome, owner very helpful. A lovely, stylish house. Dog friendly. Free on street parking. Reasonable rates.

Room Tip: For views chose a front room.

I came to stay and visit family. There was no room at the "inn" as my sibling was up with their 4 children, so there was no room. It is a great location for a B&B as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the main thoroughfare. The welcome was lovely. You could choose when you wanted to have breakfast and for breakfast, you could choose what you wanted for your cooked breakfast which was great. I felt that this gave it a great personal touch. The room we stayed in had squeaky floors as well as a noisy toilet once you flushed it. We also found it to be a little bit on the pricey side but apart from that it was a great place to come and stay.

Stopped here for a night before travelling over to Arran. Room was spacious for single and two shower rooms to choose from. Shower rooms themselves bit grubby but fine- showers were very good which was the main thing.

Location good and I stayed with my dog (no extra cost) and lovely to walk her along the see wall in the morning.

Breakfast fine for what I was paying.
