Wonderful location and amazing scenery. Nan & Graham were very friendly & welcoming. Our rooms were very clean and extremely comfy. Evening meal menu was fantastic, so much choice and the food tasted superb !!! Nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts.... an extra point for us was even though the guest house was located in the beautiful countryside, we were still provided with all of the technology we have and expect from home !! Graham has thought of everything from this point and has the knowledge to back it up !! Will definitely be returning again without a doubt.

Well what can I say we loved it. Nan and Graham are the most amazing people make you feel as if you are family. Thot my husband had book for 3 nights for rewind but on arrival found it was only two and man and graham were fully booked for 3rd nyt so I went onto booking.com and booked a nyt in the ibis in Perth On Sunday Graham was looking up on map to give us directions and guess what I had only gone and booked Perth Australia silly me. So we were stuck for somewhere to stay as everywhere was fully so Man and Graham had a spare room in their own part of the house and kindly gave us the room which was much appreciated and can’t thank them enough ment I could go and enjoy the last day of the festival,so anyone thinking of going please do you will not meet a friendlier couple

We booked through Expedia and committed to a non-refundable room which is the hotel’s policy. Several hours later Fendoch phoned to say sorry they were already full and we had to apply to Expedia for a refund. They refused to contact Expedia to sort it out . I asked if she could find us alternative accommodation nearby but she said she was too busy. She offered me some numbers to try but as I was just about to go out I couldn’t start phoning round till after work tomorrow . Even though Expedia was acting as their agent she said it wasn’t her fault and washed her hands of my booking and left us high and dry. No help at all and now we have nowhere to stay for our family reunion.

So if you receive an email confirming your booking and payment don’t be fooled into believing it! This place obviously had a chaotic booking system.

Unfortunately this is only one side of the story and her side is wrong
The booking came in at 6.25pm from Expedia who is a third party booking company not ours Unfortunately we were already full for the date given and informed the customer immediately by phone It was explained that we cannot contact Expedia to sort the problem out as she would need to cancel from her end at no cost to her which she refused to do
A hotel cannot cancel out a third party booking !!!!
We sent a text and email to her after she put the phone down on my wife having organised other accommodation for her in the town where she stated she wanted to be in the first place anyway
So being left high and dry is not the case at all as she has now taken up the accommodation that my wife had organised and reserved for her and left details for her on her phone had she checked her phone.
It would have helped if she had returned our calls texts or emails but to date NOTHING even although she was online last night speaking to Expedia although she said she did not have time
So if you are going to write a review on a place you have never stayed at Make sure it’s truthful !!!!!!
We have been in business for 25 years and never had this kind of problem before
We tried our best and hope that she enjoys her family reunion and all goes well

Having stayed with Nan and Graham at Fendoch off and on since 1996, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Such a friendly couple, they make you so welcome, the rooms are great, the breakfast is yummy and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. If you fancy sitting in the lounge watching the red squirrels and birds fighting over the nuts and seeds on the other side of the large window, then you've come to the right place. I really can't recommend Fendoch too highly, it is a home away from home and isn't that what you want?
