Very comfortable and well situated in Crieff. Lovely view over the town from the bedroom. Made to feel very welcome by the owner and Ted the resident dog. Very comfortable bed and we had an excellent breakfast. Keep this place in mind if you’re thinking of staying in Crieff.

Only stayed one night, to attend a wedding at Creiff Hydro, which was a very short walk from the Newstead itself.
What a very warm welcome and comfortable stay.
Our hostess was simply wonderful.
We wish you well Marion in all you do.

We were booked into the Newstead B&B, we were treated with a welcoming “Hi I’m Marion” when we arrived. On being shown to our massive room with an ensuite. tea coffee with real milk and all you expect, iron hairdryer etc, With fantastic view over the hills and Crief. Great breakfast in the morning as well.
We were at a party at Crief Hydro this B&B is only a five minute walk to the front door of the Hydro and a ten minutes walk to the town centre

Room Tip: Ask if the ensuite is available

We had an overnight here for a friend’s wedding taking placeat the Famous Grouse distillery (which is a 5 min drive, 25 min walk away). Marion is a wonderful host who was extremely friendly on our arrival. We had the double room with the en-suite room and it is huge. Lovey super king-sized bed, comfortable couch and telly. Bathroom was bright and clean and a double wardrobe and chest of drawers available. The view from the room is amazing as well. We sat down with Marion for about 10 mins just go over the domestics and she took our breakfast order (and to have a good wee cuddle with Ted the dog). If you need a good hearty breakfast before a long day then this is place for you. Individual orders for my partner and I and we were both stuffed by the end of it. And the cherry in top is Ted, the most adorable and friendly dog you will ever meet. Overall, this place is amazing if you need a place to rest your head and get fuel duo for the day ahead.

Room Tip: The double room has en-suite
