You approach the house via a steep driveway and enter the house at the rear. With an impressive glazed frontage, the focus of the house is on light and space, with several communal spaces offering flexibility for guests. The decor is simple, with carefully selected accessories to add touches of luxury and to give a Scottish feel – Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels, ‘Harris Tweed’ curtains & throws, rugs & cushions from ‘Skyeskyns,’ whisky-barrel furniture from ‘Darach,’ and complimentary hand-soap from ‘Highland Soaps.’ Our artwork is Scottish – many pieces are by local artists. Wireless Broadband internet access is available throughout the house free of charge. Various communal areas provide a choice of where to relax - a large fully-equipped kitchen/diner, sun-room, cosy snug/TV room with wood burning stove & smart TV, and a glazed first floor gallery with views of the loch. The hub of the house is the central hall, with a full size snooker table. There is bedroom accommodation for up to 12 adults in 3 double and 3 twin bedrooms. All of the first-floor bedrooms are accessorised with Harris Tweed curtains, cushions & throws and rugs from Skyeskyns. All our art work is Scottish – some by local artists. The double bedrooms are all en-suite, with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a chair. The large twin room has two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a chair. The small twin room has two single beds, chest of drawers, a shared bedside cabinet, chair and table. The twin rooms are served by a large family bathroom. On the ground floor we have provided a further twin room with en-suite, ideal for elderly or less able guests. It has two single beds, chest of drawers, dressing table and a chair. In addition, a cot is available for very young guests. This can be located in any room in the house, on request. Outside space is provided by a first floor balcony accessed from the gallery, a front deck accessed from the snooker hall, and a large patio at the rear for barbecues. There are also gardens, which are kept as natural as possible, with a path up to a viewing point and bench at the rear of the property.

A tranquil holiday in the Highlands
This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this amazing house. It is situated on the south bank of Loch Ness approximately half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus. It is a large, modern well insulated property overlooking the Loch and is suitable for all year round accommodation. You enter through the main entrance hall, the centre piece of which is a full sized snooker table. There is a large well equipped kitchen and dinning area. There is one bedroom downstairs, suitable for a couple with reduced mobility. The other five bedrooms are upstairs, three with on suite bathrooms. There is also a main bathroom. There are two balconies that face the Loch, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is a large patio with a BBQ and two large grassed areas. The owner is very helpful with all aspects of the booking. There is a local store and tea room in the local village just down the road, but the house is also served by home delivery from the supermarkets in Inverness. Fort Augustus is approx 25 mins away where you can take a cruise on the Loch. There are also a number of local country walks nearby, some flat, some pretty steep. There are guide maps in the property. If you haven’t visited the highlands before I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and start your Scottish adventure.

Wonderful place
Had an absolute wonderful time in a stunning house. Everything is perfect and been thought off. Whole family enjoyed themselves and the weather was also perfect. Woke up 2 mornings with snow covering the ground and trees. Just stunning scenery. Highly recommend and would definitely want to come back.

Amazing Property
A group of us stayed at this house for 7 nights over New Year and were delighted to stay there. Everything is provided for you, including a full size snooker table. Rooms are a good size and modern, kitchen and dining area are huge with plenty of room for 'too many cooks'. The only very small negative we could think of is that the lighting system might be a bit over complicated for non techies like us. It is a very peaceful spot with walks to Loch Ness and the Falls of Foyer just 5 minutes away. We had snow on the last couple of days of our stay and this created amazing views over to the mountains. We all agreed that this property was the best we'd stayed at over the past few years. Our host quickly provided any answers to our queries.

Fantastic !!
Absolutely beautiful house, spotlessly clean, Xmas tree was gorgeous. Party of 12 friends who have gone away for the last three years had a fabulous time, what a way to bring in the New Year. Would highly recommend a 7 night stay. Slight issue with very hard pillows and lighting system takes a bit of getting used too, but this was offset with a lovely welcome food/drink hamper, which was enjoyed by all.

Sealladh an Loch
A fantastic house in a great location. The snooker table was well used during our weekend and there were plenty private and public spaces for us all to enjoy. Perfect for our annual 6 couple get together.

Luxury Family holiday with wonderful local walks
This was an outstanding 5 star quality accommodation. The house had wonderful views of Loch Ness and lovely grounds set back from any neighbours. Everything you could possibly need was provided and of a very high standard. The house was spotless on our arrival and we were welcomed with fresh home baked scones and jam. Very quick and friendly responses to any queries were received from both Sue, the owner and Lorna the housekeeper. We travelled as two families with ages ranging from 3-55 and all had a very comfortable stay, making good use of the snooker table and games provided. We enjoyed many local walks spotting wildlife as well as fishing on other locks and exploring further afield. We would highly recommend this accommodation and will certainly be booking again in the future.

Sealldah an Loch ( paradise)
Me and my family have just come back from the most relaxing week at Sealldah an Loch. House was absolutely amazing and was very clean. Sue and her team have thought about absolutely everything you could need from welcome pack of necessities to absolutely everything you could ever need in a kitchen. The house is massive and we had 4 adults and 2 children and a dog and you could always find a space to have time too yourself. The outdoor space is great too. From Alisons bench at the top of the garden where the view is spectacular. Can’t recommended this house enough and didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be back.

Family get together
What a wonderful way to celebrate our post lockdown family meet up! The house had lots of space and was well laid out and comfortable. We could have time together without being 'on top of each other'. We all loved the house and it was an easy distance to Fort Augustus, Inverness, Landmark etc. We will definitely be considering it for future famil gatherings. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.

Christmas at Seallach an Loch
We returned for the second time to Seallach an Loch for Christmas 2019. It was like coming home. There were 11 of us plus our family dogs. We felt so welcome and at home the moment we walked through the door. The house and location are stunning and there is more than enough space for everyone. There is everything you could possibly need for a week away. Every little detail is is taken care of. Can’t recommend highly enough and I know we all can’t wait to return again
