“Fantastic accommodation and location”
Reviewed March 27, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Third time we've stayed in a Great Rental property and they never fail to impress me. Locholly is situated in an amazing part of the country with simply stunning views to the Summer Isles. If you leave the property and turn right and walk half a mile there is a walk down to the beach on the right, our 2 dogs loved it. As it was out of season when we visited most places were shut, fortunately the piping school was open and served really good homely food. Loved it so much we booked to come back after staying one night :-))

“Beautiful house, wonderful views”
Reviewed March 27, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Stayed for one week in March in Stac Polly. The house is really lovely, best self catering house we have stayed in. Sitting in the hot tub watching the beautiful scenery was so relaxing, even if I did have to have my hat on sometimes!

Cooking was fun in the well speced kitchen whilst playing a selection of the owners music.

It is a high tech house but we managed everything easily enough.

I would definitely return.

Bed was very comfy, towels were nice and thick.

“Simply amazing”
Reviewed February 15, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Just returned from a short break at Lochally Lodge. I don't really know where to start here - the location, the views, the level of comfort, the facilities - all top notch. Sit in the hot tub at night and look up - I swear you will never see so many stars. Sit in front of the window in the lounge area and watch the sunset over the sea - glorious! I felt like I was on the TV programme "Fantasy Homes by the sea"! The lodge is equipped to a level where self catering is very easy which is handy as the nearest eating place is a ten minute drive away. The local hotel "the Summer Isles Hotel" was unfortunately closed and looked like this was permanent. Big tip then is to take a good stock of food with you. The nearest supermarket is a small tesco in Ullapool, and there is a store in the next village which is good if you run out of anything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

“Luxury in remote Scotland”
Reviewed October 15, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The house was exceptionally nice. The living areas being great for our visit with our Danish in- laws. It's rare to get such high quality house in a remote Scottish area. The booking/ cleaning/ hot tub arrangements were all great and flexible. We all loved the hot tub and sat in it every night even when the rain and wind were raging around us. We didn't eat or drink out at all as we all felt the house had everything we wanted- the view from upstairs was a delight. For us a mirror in the downstairs double for hair/ make-up and some more serving dishes in the kitchen would have been perfect. The local shop had a surprisingly good variety of food and we used the fish van too.

Thank you Laura for your wonderful review, I have taken note and will be ordering a mirror and some more serving dishes. The hot tub is definitely the best place to sit on a stormy night, I love doing that as well. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Thanks Mark

“Beautiful location”
Reviewed September 26, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Visited recently with family for dads 60th. Absolutely stunning location, house is impressive, great size, hot tub was bliss! Great wee shop nearby, and the hotel at the top of the road was a treat for a meal out. Great for people who like to relax but also enjoying the outdoors. Very spacious, although we were only six it definitely wouldn't have felt full with eight.

A few things were disappointing, eg broken locks, one of the toilets didn't flush, could definitely have been cleaner, that let it down and is stopping me from giving it five stars.

Thanks Susan for your feedback, unfortunately we had to fit a new toilet and a part was broken when it was fitted, we are waiting for a piece to arrive so it can be fixed, apologies. Have given the team your feedback about the cleanliness so that we can improve. Again thank you for taking the time to let us know. Mark

“Stunning location, stunning property, stunning views. Glorious!”
Reviewed July 15, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed in Stac Polly for a girlie weekend. What a luxurious property. Spotless, incredibly light and airy, spectacular views, absolutely glorious. The best view from a hot tub you will ever get anywhere!
Technology is great but unobtrusive, which fits perfectly with the setting. Great sound system, infra red sauna, music upstairs and down. Picture windows and views to die for.
The driveway is pretty steep to get out - I wouldn't fancy it on a really rainy or snowy day - but the maintenance guy said the drainage was getting sorted. In the meantime, if you have concerns, just park at the top of the drive. A girlie request for the downstairs bedrooms - better mirrors.
We were just there for a long weekend so didn't travel far. We didn't want to, we had everything we needed right there.
Highly recommended!
