“Lovely old house with great views and lots of character”

This is a family owned holiday house with a long history in the same family - it has lots of personal touches and feels like a home. We liked this a lot, and we loved the views and the tree with ropes and swings at the bottom of the garden. This house has few 'mod cons', no wifi and very little phone reception - a proper escape - but it is also cosy and comfortable, tasteful and attractive. There is a good pub nearby, a cafe and a shop, a wonderful beach at Achnahaird and brilliant walking right from the door. The boat trip round the Summer Isles is recommended. Rory who owns the house was very helpful too.
