This unassuming takeaway next to Troon harbour serves up the best fish and chips. The focus is on fish with sea bass, salmon and monkfish, prawn and squid tempura all on the menu with the usual suspects of cod and haddock. It can be busy but tonight I beat the rush and the reward was monkfish, cooked fresh, with a light crisp batter, homemade tartare sauce and perfect chips. A real treat!
