No queue and we were in and out within five minutes - perfect ! We ordered the mixed fish and thai fish cakes, each with chips and we couldn't finish them as the portion sizes were huge ! They both tasted brilliant, fresh and delicious. Sat and ate them in our car, watching the seagulls and the fishing boats - romantic - ha, ha ! I've always called this place the 'posh fish n' chip shop' due to the tartare sauce, lemon wedge and the way in which they are served however the price that we paid did not reflect this and we thought it was a lot cheaper than your average fish n' chip shop therefore brilliant value for money. If the weather had been better, we would have driven round the corner to the little car park that faces out to sea and sat there. This is a really nice place to go.

We stopped in for fish N chips and it was very good.
The portion is good and you will have to wait as it is all freshly prepared.
Enjoyed would use again.

This unassuming takeaway next to Troon harbour serves up the best fish and chips. The focus is on fish with sea bass, salmon and monkfish, prawn and squid tempura all on the menu with the usual suspects of cod and haddock. It can be busy but tonight I beat the rush and the reward was monkfish, cooked fresh, with a light crisp batter, homemade tartare sauce and perfect chips. A real treat!

Very, very good Fish Suppers. Hard to beat anywhere in Scotland. English fryers are not in the same league, so they don't count.
Only one that comes close, imo, is Bonnyton Cafe in Kilmarnock.
