Booked a superior room with a harbour view, which turned out to be room 6 on the ground floor. The lights in the bathroom did not work (this was swiftly fixed by the management), the room smelt of damp and was cold and very dark. There was a lovely patio outside the double doors (the only source of light, which faced north, so very little light, and which could be seen into from the restaurant) but there was no furniture on which to sit and enjoy the patio. Inside the room was 1 comfy chair and 1 desk chair - hardly a recipe for relaxation. There was also no sleep to be had in the room, given that there was no soundproofing, therefore we could hear every movement in the room above. Unfortunately, our neighbors did not stop walking around until after 2am.
We did request another room and were offered a smaller, front facing room. This was much lighter and less smelly so we had a better night's sleep on the second night.
