“Great location for exploring both Skye and the mainland”

Ashaig House is easy to find, and it's easy to get into and out of the parking area. Property is very clean. Grocery shopping is only a few minutes away, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Washer and dryer work very well. There is a sandy beach, but it's not suitable for swimming. Beautiful views. Wifi is extremely slow. One of the upstairs bed's mattresses needs to be replaced as the springs are worn out on one side. Another rental unit is attached to this house.

Management Response

Hi Mary - thanks for your comments. Would appreciate any further details from you regarding the bed if you have a chance to email. Sorry to hear about WIFI, which I understand may have been down to upgrades to the local exchange in the area. Glad you had a nice time.

Aishaig house is a very comfortable place to be. Everything was up to our expectations: the view, the house , the location, an ideal place to explore Skye!

“Fab country cottage”
Reviewed April 12, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Very comfortable cottage, has everything you need.
Clean and cosy, good size well equipped kitchen, dinning & sitting room , plus tv room, both double size bedrooms with ensuite, plus bathroom downstairs. Lots of outdoor space in garden.
Secluded location to chill out and enjoy the stunning views but just 5 min drive from restaurants /takeaway/ hotel /shops etc.
It's an Ideal base to tour stunning island . Roads in Skye are great for driving.
Sad to say goodbye to the 2 horses next door, they like an apple)
We stayed 4 nights, weather was good too and great to wake up in morning and take a walk to the beach on the door step, perfect !
I would recommend and hope to go back again soon.
