5,Castle Crescent is a well appointed warm and comfortable house. Barbara welcomed us with a basket of local goodies, as well as delicious home made bread and new laid eggs.
The view over Loch Dunvegan from the kitchen window is stunning, a constantly changing panorama of sky, clouds and water. There are lovely walks from the door - up to the castle and beyond, was a favourite.
The village has all we needed in the way of shops, and there are various good places to eat.
Wifi was a bonus, as the mobile signal is patchy.
Barbara's generosity and kindness made our stay outstanding . We returned rested and refreshed., and looking forward to returning one day.

Lovely house, very well equipped, beautiful view over Loch Dunvegan to McLeod's Tables. And, even more important, a very sweet owner who regaled us (and every other guest, too) with a big basket full of good things, milk, bread, wine, fudge, cereals, free range eggs.
Even the "wee dram" was in the house. We were sad to leave and certainly will come back.
Our family had the pleasure to stay here early June 2015. Barbara was very responsive to any questions before our arrival and was so welcoming and accommodating She left such a nice goodie basket which was so helpful since we arrived late in the evening. The apartment was very comfortable and made us feel right at home - we had everything we needed and what views out of the back windows!! What a beautiful place and we enjoyed so many great hikes on Skye - Quairang, Coral Beach, The Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Pools. This was the highlight of our trip to Scotland.
We enjoyed 4 nights at this wonderful property. Everything you could possibly need is provided for in the house. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. We had a 2 month old baby with us and Barbara had provided a travel cot with bedding and had it all nicely set up for us in the room. Lovely touch with the welcome pack too.

Arrived in terrible weather to find a warm and comfortable haven from the wild weather. A generous box of goodies had been left in the kitchen to make us feel very welcome.
Two bathrooms is a big plus point when you have a couple of grown up offspring on holiday with you , and TV in all bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own choice of entertainment when they wanted it. Wi-Fi works in all rooms.
Has all the facilities you need.
View from the upstairs back bedroom is a joy to wake up to.
We did get out to some of the attractions locally (Coral beach is worth a visit) when the weather brightened up for the end of our visit.
There are plenty things to do not far from the property so it a great location, there is even a good 45 minute walk starting at the church across the road.
Local shops and services are good as well , especially the bakery/chip shop at the bottom end of Dunvegan.
