We booked Bayview Cottage on the Isle of Skye as part of a road trip from the South. The house is stunning and in the most stunning location, the photos just don't do it justice! The house on arrival was clean and tidy with a very well kept garden with amazing views, we had a couple of sunny evenings so were able to take in the views from the picnic bench. The rooms were all huge and suited us all perfectly. The house had everything you could need, well except for blinds/curtains in the main bedroom (well one roof window was covered), we were woken between 4:30 and 5am with the sunrise. I would highly recommend and have already to friends. One day we will return as the Isle Of Skye is beautiful and a week just wasn't long enough. Thanks
This bothie did not come across as a normal holiday rental. The finishes were of the highest standard and the kitchen kitted out for the most demanding of home cooks. It really was just a brilliant base for what turned out to be a great holiday. The beds were comfortable, the house layout worked exceptionally well and we shall definitely be back the next time that we visit Skye.
Good location not far from Portree.Fantastic views from Bayview, luxury accommodation in a beautiful setting.Lots to see and do in the area, especially enjoyed the Skye Pipe Band in the town square.
The cottage is wonderful, had everything we needed for 4 Adults and 2 children. Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom.
The view is amazing and the location great for visiting all parts of the Island from.
A fantastic holiday cottage, with stunning views across the bay to Portree. Bayview Croft is beautiful inside and out, and has everything you need for a wonderful holiday on the Isle of Skye.
Had a great week, weather not good initially but then fab. Went up to and beyond the Old Man of Storr, with great views. One day spent Up the coast to Kilt Rock, Staffin Bay and An Corran beach, then across to the Quiraing, to Uig pottery and and then through dunvegan and up to Coral Beach, all must sees. Also down to Fairy pools, again a must see. Parking is an issue at some of these places, so we found best early or later. Didn’t see any otters on a wildlife tour, but on Stardust boat trip 4pm, had brilliant views of sea eagles with one coming down to take fish, ate the fish platter afterwards at Sea Breezes, which was excellent. Used Dons Taxi for afternoon/evening out -6 seater, less than £10 into Portree.
The Accommodation was top class, an ideal base for seeing most of Skye’s attractions, it had everything, the best place we’ve stayed in Skye or the other islands. Sat out and enjoyed the amazing views in the sun and walked down to the waters edge of an evening. Would definitely come back to Bayview Croft if visiting Skye again.
