Actually found 2 out of 17! These are found right after you leave the ramp down to the beach on the flats, close to the rock wall. By all means NO TENNIS SHOES! I saw a few slips on the seaweed while we were there. Be sure to check the tide times and have fun!

Make sure you go at low tide. We did find the dinosaur print which is amazing. The beach is volcanic so the sand is black and fascinating and beautifully coloured sea. We thought it was magical.

No idea where the footprints were… at high or low tide! It’s a lovely location though, so I guess this adds to the mystique …

We fair enjoyed our experience here, we only found one dinosaur footprint and I wasn’t convinced they were real, we visited the dinosaur museum before coming here and I think my expectations were a lot higher after speaking to the lovely owner of the museum who told us lots about the history etc.
the highlight for me was the cows just roaming around climbing the rocks and wondering around not a care in the world absolutely made my day!!

It was a lovely sunny day with lots of people enjoying the beach. We missed low tide but we eventually found one print. You really have to search for them. We really enjoyed our time here.
