Cassandra and Steve gave a warm welcome and made us feel at home. Our superior double room was fantastic with great views of Uig bay. Well done Steve on a fantastic breakfast. We will visit again on our next trip to the Western Isles. David & Karen.

I enjoyed my two night stay at Woodbine House which is situated in a quiet street off the main road in Uig and has private parking . I had a clean and comfortable room which was nice and warm during a very cold spell of weather. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and served a lovely breakfast, there was also fresh home baking if you arrived back in the afternoon.
Uig is a convenient location for the ferry to the Isles, the Quiraing , the Fairy Glen and Staffin.

We stayed for two nights. Our hosts Cassandra and Stephen were extremely welcoming as was the ambience of the Guest House. Home baking on arrival. A separate lounge with wine glasses and a fridge available so you can end your evening with a relaxing glass of wine of your choice on the large comfy sofas. Fantastic views over the water, warm and comfortable and was within walking distance to the Ferry Terminal and local restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day which included home made bread. Our hosts provided us with local knowledge of the area which enhanced our experience of Skye. We will definitely be looking to book up again in the near future. I would 100% recommend this bed and breakfast for both a stop over stay and a longer stay. Margaret and Geo

The combination of Woodbine's proximity to the ferry for Harris and the breath-taking views across the Uig bay gave us a perfect base to explore both Skye and the Outer Hebrides.
We were greeted by Stephen and Cassandra, the cheerful and charismatic owners who offered tea and cake on our arrival. The cosy guest lounge boasted a wood burner fire and had the enchantment of a traditional Scottish living room. Wine glasses by the fire and comfortable couches offered a still moment to rejuvenate. The bedroom was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, with a bedroom view that seemed to nurse the wounds inflicted by life’s turbulence. Our genial hosts offered detailed knowledge of the Islands attractions and an invaluable booking at a local restaurant. The bed was so comfortable, we had to peel ourselves from the embrace of the softest duvet, but the rave reviews of the Woodbine's breakfast lured us to the dining room after a wonderful and invigorating shower. The reviews were justified in ranking this a breakfast of champions and raised the bar of our expectations on our ensuing visits to other Guest houses. We would unequivocally recommend a lengthy stay at Woodbine house.

This is an exceptional B&B. Very cosy room with the most comfortable bed, really nice shower, plenty of heating and hot water, lovely breakfast room and guest lounge, and breakfast! And minutes from the ferry if you're heading to the Hebrides. But this would be a really nice base for exploring northern Skye. You couldn't meet more friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts than Stephen and Cass. I was delighted I'd opted to stay here and boarded the ferry feeling all the better for such a cosy night's sleep and warm welcome.
