“Great Cottage. Highly Recommend”
Reviewed April 18, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Lovely cosy cottage! Clean and welcoming cottage which has a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely big Aga :) The sitting room has a wood burning stove which kept us all toasty!
Five of us stayed for the weekend and there was plenty of space with 2 double rooms and 1 twin room along with 2 bathrooms with showers.
Sky TV, wifi and lots of games, books and DVDs provided if further entertainment is required.

There is a pub a 5 min walk along the road which was very handy for a post 10k run refreshment! The area is beautiful with the Glenlivet Distillery a short drive away.

The owner is very helpful and all went smoothly.

Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

Liked best: Great kitchen with aga and huge fridge! Really well equipped
Liked least: The upstairs bathroom has a handheld shower with bath. Not a big issue as there is a wall mounted shower in the downstairs bathroom.

Visited with friends for a weekend stay. Comfortably sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, with option of sofa bed in lounge also if more staying.

Plenty of space with two bathrooms, lounge and separate dining area. Great wood burning stove in lounge, and Sky TV for the best of traditional and modern. Kitchen is well equipped.

Close to numerous distilleries, walking and mountain biking. A welcoming pub with food a short walk down the road. Would also be a good location to access the skiing at Lecht in winter.

“Cosy country cottage with everything you need for a great trip away”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Cottage was very spacious for 8 of us and was well equipped, was a home away from home. Fantastic views for lunch in the garden. Lots of indoor board games and outside games to pass the time away. Great location for glenlivet distillery & the speyside way. Local pub within walking distance which serves traditional scottish countryside fayre. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we will be back!

“Lovely Country Cottage”
Reviewed August 11, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We were a party of 5 so there was plenty of room and could accommodate 8 comfortably. We had a quiet weekend and visited the Glenlivit distillery which was a 5 minute drive away and offered a free tour with a dram at the end, just as good as any paid tour. We also had dinner at the pub along the road which was delicious, and had a barbecue with the barbecue provided at the cottage (needed to take our own charcoal). Noise does travel within the property, so the early risers have to be careful not to wake everyone. The road outside isn't that busy but the cars are fast, this only bothered the people in the front bedrooms in the morning as it was quite noisy. Also there is an open area above. the stairs, so I wouldn't recommend young children are left alone

“Great Highland Home”
Reviewed July 16, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Lovely base for walking, cycling, distillery tours or just a relaxed weekend.
Very spacious yet cosy at the same time.
Gorgeous wood burner & aga, plenty space in the garden, great that sky & wifi are available should the weather not be kind.
Worth a visit!
