“Perfect romantic hideaway in the most idyllic of locations”
Reviewed October 27, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We usually have such a hectic life in London. . and find it hard to unwind, but Rose Cottage had us completely relaxed within hours. It's a gorgeous property which is immaculately clean and all the facilities and kitchen equipment you could ever need. The beds are incredibly comfortable so it's hard not to feel relaxed! Chrissie the owner baked some beautiful scones for us on arrival with some delicious homemade Jam. We were also able to purchase some lovely fresh produce and the eggs were a particular hit. . the most buttery yolks we've ever had! A far cry from London Eggs!
Another highlight was definitely the hot-tub. Probably the best view from a hot-tub ever! Absolutely incredible relaxation. Thanks to Chrissie and Chris for making our stay so memorable. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

“Total idyllic location and facilities where you are able to totally wind down from the pressures of life”
Reviewed August 29, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We arrived to a great welcome with homemade scones and bread. Rose Cottage is perfect, spotless, spacious and well equipped. We had our two dogs with us who loved it. The wildlife is amazing we even had a Pine Martin pass our cottage three times. There is ducks, chickens, geese on the croft, very educational for children of all ages, Chris was happy to answer any questions about the croft. Lots of local amenities, we went fishing, played golf and went on lots of long walks then stopped and had refreshments at the local pub and coffee shop. Totally relaxed, scenery stunning, the hospitality we received was second to none. We will be back!

Where to even begin? This beautiful cottage encompasses everything you could ever want in a holiday home. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable and well stocked! We were welcomed with homemade bread, jam and scones which were delicious! Later on we drove to one of the 4 restaurants within a 5 minute radius and had an amazing dinner. Upon returning we sat by the roaring fire, had a glass of wine and spent an hour in the hot tub. I could not recommend this gorgeous place and the happy to help hosts enough! We were all extremely sad to be leaving today and have already enquired about booking a further stay! Great value for money, a real gem and a home away from home. Perfect! Five stars! 10/10!

“Beautiful and relaxing”
Reviewed February 21, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The cottage was beautiful, just like in the photos. The location was perfect, very quiet with lots of opportunities for hillwalking nearby, and the coast just a short drive away. We really enjoyed the nights in the hot tub under the stars and the views from the living room in front of the fire during the day. Chris and Chrissie were very accommodating, even when we got a flat tyre on one of the back roads and needed some advice and assistance. This was a great spot for a quiet break, and we certainly hope to return in the future.

Beautiful house with quality furnishing and linens and perfectly equipped. Lovely hospitality on arrival with fresh home made bread scones and jam and wine.
Stunning location in a very beautiful part of Scotland. Lots to see and do in surrounding area both on foot and by car. Local hotels and bar serving fabulous fresh food within walking distance.
Hot tub views definately the icing on the cake - although some privacy from the neighbouring cottage would have been better.

Thank you for taking the time to review Rose Cottage.
We're very pleased that you had a good time.
We do try to describe the property as honestly as possible and that the Cottage shares the hot-tub with the adjoining Honeysuckle House, which has access to the patio by the hot-tub via the sunroom.

“Fabulous Place”
Reviewed July 19, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Had a lovely week on the croft with our two children. The owners were very welcoming, introducing us and the boys to all the animals - chickens, ducks and geese. The Home made casserole and bread on arrival was delicious a nice welcome. We quickly reordered more bread along with berries off the croft each day.

We stayed in Rose Cottage which is perfect for 4. The place was spotlessly clean and is a home from home. The wood burning stove is great, with a supply of logs included.

We were lucky as the house nextdoor was empty so we also got the use of the joining sun room that looks over the fab hot tub with amazing views up the valley

Thanks for choosing Bluebell Croft- We are so glad that you and your family had a great holiday.
What luck that our ducks should hatch eggs and our chicken eggs also hatch while you and the boys were here!
