Could Not Fault It

Stayed last night as my friends and I were attending a wedding near by. Ally could not have been more helpful. The rooms were great, had everything we needed. Very few times do you get a room which has everything you need. Breakfast was also great, with everything cooked to perfection and great coffee.

Bramblewood is a lovely little (4 rooms) b&b in a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from Drymen. Host Ally is really helpful and happy and he cooks a great breakfast with huge pots of coffee ! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the showers are very good too. The rooms have a patio with seating overlooking a sloping lawned garden, and this would be nice in good weather. Overall a really nice night on our way North.

Stayed here as a starting point for a highlands trip. We were met by Ally who was super helpful. Rooms are really nice with super comfy beds and awesome power showers. Breakfast is ordered the night before and is ready for when you arrive to the dining room. Breakfast is really good with a lot of tea and coffee from a super host. Feel like nothing is too much trouble. Ally is an awesome host!

We were lucky enough to be booked into Bramblewood for two nights on our Hillwalk Tours hike of the WHW. Our host, Ally, runs a first-class establishment. Our room was comfy, the bed warm and cozy, and breakfast was scrumptious. Ally doubled as a professional cab driver, picking us up off the trail and hauling our soaked, sweaty, muddy butts back to his home with no complaints and witty and engaging conversation along the way. Thank you Ally and best of luck in the future.

Great B&B - hadn't checked it out properly before booking, it was last minute and was grateful for somewhere having space but it was excellent.
Lovely spacious room. Windows all round.
Even a nice balcony!
Really pleasant surprise.

Shower was great too - a slow dribble is the norm in a lot of semi-rural places.

Can't think of any bad points...maybe an extra sausage at breakfast?

Can't recommend highly enough. Ally was great too. Such a cool guy.

Thanks!

Booked 2 rooms one upstairs and one down. Both beautiful and Kate and Aliy are the perfect hosts. Lovely rooms, well equipped with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is awesome. Great location just 5 mins from Drymen. A great find we will return

Room tip: The upstairs room is the cream of the crop although they are all lovely
