Beautiful little village of Killin, newsagents, supermarket, gift shop, cafes , restaurants & pub, but the place to see is the Falls of Dochart.
Runs through the centre of the village. After heavy rain it is a spectacular sight which shows the Power of water.
On the opposite side of the Bridge is the small island of Inchbuie which is the ancient burial place of the MacNab Clan.

My daughter and I were actually intending on going to Fort William but decided to stop off to see the falls. We ended up staying longer than intended. Loved the falls. Took lots of photos and explored the rocks and rock pools. Lots of families out at the falls and lots of photos being taken. Lovely stop off. Well worth the visit. We’ll be back in the summer and want to visit the Clan Burial ground too.

The falls are breathtaking and stunning at this time of year. yesterday they were at their wild best and are well worth a visit. The healing properties of St Fillan's stones are not so well known, but the waters of the Dochart cold as they are do seem to have some sort of healing power!

Lovely day out in Killin despite the cold weather. The falls were spectacular. Beautiful scenery with snow on the hills.
