Booked for a Family Lunch and we were not disappointed . A varied menu and attentive service helped make for a pleasant lunch.
Great view out over the Loch from our table made it just fine.
They manage to pander to my Granddaughters whims for something not normally provided and that really pleased her,
Courteous staff, prompt service, freshly prepared food and lovely surroundings, you can't ask for much more than that.

Stayed one night on an itison voucher for bed and breakfast and cream afternoon tea. It was brilliant and well worth the voucher. It is a scone with coffee not afternoon tea. The room was basic- bathroom needs up dated and tv was tiny- the bed was comfy and tea/coffee and extras were nice. The food was excellent both the evening meal and breakfast. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is beautiful. Overall it is well worth it and a lovely experience.

Have recently returned after spending six days at this Hotel.

There were several reasons to complain the worst being standard of accommodation. Nowhere on the "on-line" advertising is there any mention of accessibility in the accommodation.. The rooms we occupied on the ground floor were excellent spacious and very comfortable - ignoring the fact that they were not properly cleaned and dusted - but the bathrooms were horrific. One of our party was ninety years old and could not have a shower or bath as the baths were so high as to be inaccessible for the elderly or infirm. Coupled with a very inefficient hot water system that treated you to periods of cold then scalding hot water without notice. When water did flow at a reasonably constant temperature the flow was no better than standing out in the rain..Additionally, there were no handles on the walls to assist entry/exit, again of little use to the elderly. Apparently there is only one room with a walk-in shower in the hotel - again, not shown in the advertising.

There is no lift in the hotel so, again, unsuitable for elderly or infirm.

Breakfasts were a joke. There was only one attendant - Debbie - who provided anything approaching a degree of service. One did not get the impression that the food was freshly cooked - the bacon was invariably leathery and sausages appeared to have been prepared far earlier and kept "warm"; dry, leathery and unpalatable.

On several mornings, arriving for breakfast after 9 a.m, the breakfast buffet table was not replenished when items were finished.

The "lounge" area was more like a station waiting room with people coming and going all day, so more comfortable to remain in your rooms.

The good part of the management was Jean who attended to every complaint expeditiously and with effect.

The hotel is in lovely surroundings, albeit a little isolated from any nearby attractions or facilities, but is in need of some extensive improvement and not worth the £200+ per night charged for B&B frequently

Called in here for a pot of tea for two (£6), nicely served. Unfortunately no bar snacks and too early for afternoon tea at 3.30. Lovely hotel in a splendid location right on the lake. Nice helpful staff. Would like to stay here for a mid week break.
