We have stayed at Borrowmoss Cottages about 8 times. And, we will go there again this year and many years after. If you want to get away from stress of our so highly valued civilization, Borrowmoss in Wigtown is the right place. Quiet, friendly, well equipped and a beautiful and historical location in the heart of Wigtownshire, the South West of Scotland. The surroundings offer a great deal of activities and amenities. Hiking, cycling, hill walking, fishing, golfing, just to name some of them. The cottages are equipped with anything you would need to be comfortable during your stay. Heaven for dog owners with kennels on the site. The cottages are clean, the owner friendly and welcoming, even having a plate of freshly baked scones ready for our arrival.
A combination of nature pure, plus the comforts of everyday life, friendly locals and a little town of historically interesting places - what more do you want? We enjoyed Borrowmoss Cottages, it became a second home for us, a home where life still is as it should be. Borrowmoss cottages are not what a Carribean enthusiast would ask for, but they are a retreat for a anyone who loves nature and a friendly environment, history and sporting activities, a gem in the tourist industry.
