This was our first visit to Hog and Hominy and the food was excellent. We had Crab Claws, Quattro Formaggi Pizza with the best lemonade ever! Of course we saved room for delicious desserts, a Peanut Butter pie slice and a Chocolate pie slice. The service was super.

Thank Deborah O

Visited on a Saturday night in June. Made a reservation which felt like a good idea as it was pretty busy. Family friendly. Menu is mostly small plates to share and pizza. Unique ingredients and somewhat adventurous menu so keep that in mind if you have picky eaters but we loved it!
Highly recommend the biscuit gnocchi!

Was in town for one night. Could not get reservations for Andrew Michael so someone suggested Hog & Hominy. Although there were six of us, we were able to be seated immediately. Server suggested that we order in courses which we did since it is a small plate restaurant. Ordered several appetizers & the poutine, by far, was the best. Ordered other dishes for the next course but none really stick out. The salads were OK. We ordered three pizzas. Each one was burnt. I've had way better wood fired pizzas in other places. Most of us ordered iced tea. They ran out!! Server said he didn't know what happened with the ordering, but they ran out of tea!! How do you do that in the South???? Never offered to get us something else. The restaurant is very noisy so it is very difficult to carry on a conversation with anyone else at the table other than the person seated beside you. Don't know that I would ever return....

We were on our way to NOLA and were breaking up the trip by spending the night in Memphis. We didn't make reservations so we had to sit at the bar. Turned out to be right where we wanted to be. We had great food and the service was friendly and the bartender had been well trained on the menu. Even after tables opened up I felt like we were well taken care of at the bar. Very nice place. Great apps and great pizza.

This is one of the original, creative tables with great imagination for melding the best of New World and Old. I realize it harkens itself to Italian but it's more than that. Loved the small open feeling to the dining room. Our waitress was welcoming, professional without needing to tell us her name and bother us with the constant need for us to rate restaurant performance. We had 3 aps, two mains and glasses of 4 different wines. Loved every dish. Impressed by the range of such a small list. Not only very good selection but wines that really worked with the foods.
