Authentic German cuisine in a beautifully, restored historical building. The service is excellent and the hot potato salad is something you just shouldn't miss! You'll be hooked!

Nice place in downtown Memphis. We went before the theater. Good German food with friendly service. Much less crowed compared to Beale Street. Good value.

We just stopped in for a glass of wine. Got a generous pour of Chardonnay so naturally I give the place good reviews!

We went to take advantage of the special rates for the downtown dining week. We all love German food. We arrived early on a Friday and they were out of sauerbraten which is the reason we went. The offered sausage and potatoes and chicken and pasta as substitutes. I got sausage. or should I say I got ten quarter (size and thickness) slices of sausage and mashed. I paid $52.00 for my wife and I and got $7.00 worth of food. Most german restaurants give you links, but this was pathetic and not tasty. This is a time they should be giving you their best effort to convince you to come down again. No, we will not go back. They had all day to prepare more sauerbraten and did not do so.

Nice little venue in the Memphis South Main area near Civil Rights Museum. This area is undergoing a revival and we were there the weekend of the River Arts Festival. We enjoyed a drink and the beautiful bar area and listened to the awesome musician, Evan Farris, providing live music. We also spent some time sitting at the outdoor tables enjoying the festival around us. On another trip we visited for brunch with awesome pecan pancakes and mimosas.
