Loved having Eighty3 as an option for brunch during our last visit to Memphis. The place is cozy, but has a comfortable feel. We showed up in time for lunch, and were immediately seated.

Everything we ordered was flavorful and arrived at our table at the proper temperature. The drinks were great, too. I was very happy with the level of service provided throughout our visit. We'll definitely return when we're back in town.

So we were sightseeing downtown and stopped by Eighty3 after seeing their menu posted outside. It was around 2 pm and the menu said lunch served until 3. We went inside and waited about 5 min to be seated (despite nobody eating inside.) Our server (sorry I can't remember her name) sat us and seemed to be having a very bad day. She was very short with us when we spoke to her. We noticed she gave us dinner menus and we asked for the lunch menu since it was before 3; she said "well that's the one (menu) we are on now" with no further explanation.

We all ordered very simple meals: a salad, 2 burgers and a bbq flatbread and we had to wait 45 min even though nobody else was there eating. The food was average at best, the service was terrible and the value for the money was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had lunch here with some friends and, while the food was decent, the service was very slow. We were the only group in at the time and it took forever for our food to come out. We also never saw our original waitress and the bartender ended up finishing out our visit. Not impressed.

Very neat little restaurant in downtown Memphis next to the Madison. Decor in keeping with the downtown...cozy, elegant and great atmosphere. The drinks were generous and what we ate was amazing. We chose a different restaurant for our second night there and regretted that we didn't go back to Eighty3.

This is a small restaurant that brings great quality and quantity of food. The appetizers of fried Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes with crab were wonderful. Service is great and prices are quite reasonable including a nice selection of wines.
