In the heart of Overton Square, this is a german restaurant with an amazing menu. Try the selection of sausages as an appetizer and then make your choice of burgers, swine, and a lot more.

I enjoyed the food here quite a bit although it was a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Their beer steins are huge and frosty, the beer was good on a hot summer day.

This restaurant is in a busy trendy area with a fair number of good restaurants. I suggest you skip Schweinehaus and go to one of the others. We went with the family when the wait across the street was over an hour; there was no wait at Schweinehaus. that should have been an omen. This is essentially a fake beer hall, with long wooden picnic tables; service was ok, but food was not. one meal had to be sent back twice, and the rest were just average. Might be a good place to sit and drink beer with friends, but not for a meal.

Can't speak to the food but fun bar area to sit and sample good beers. Service was just ok. Menu looked authentic. Would like to return for a meal.

Stopped in for a seat on the patio and a snack. Had the beer cheese soup which was ok, served warm. Also had the dry rub wings. Lots of seasoning on these so be ready for a mess. What was REALLY a treat was the small side of cabbage that was addicting like salt and vinegar potato chips.
