This is a fun concept hotel. Yes, its pricy, but then just go to the 2 levels of shopping for a look. The hotel front desk staff were all great. Thanks to Byron when we arrived early our room was ready. We rested, explored the shop, we rested, we ate, explored the top of the pyramid & slept through a lightning storm. Our cabin was great fun and had quality amenities, but still in a old cabin look. The bed and pillows great, we sleep great not knowing if it was actually day or night! When we left Amy at the front desk organised a shuttle ride downtown, that was lovely of her. The bar & roomservice did both close a 10 pm as the store closes. Might be nice if it went a bit later to cater for those shopping or relaxing, but the bedtime cookies are a nice touch.
The fish bowl restaurant staff was the only down side, tables slow to clean off, staff absent for long time, so we sat at a clean table to be told 10 mins later it was a not service area, but it still was in the room, anyway their grumbles did not spoil our once in a lifetime visit. Thanks guys.More
