Stunning cycle trails. In the morning we did the YR AFON route. I was on a e bike as I’m recovering from a knee injury, the trail was well marked and simple to follow with just a couple of easy inclines. Took us 1.5 hours and the views were lovely. In the afternoon my husband went off and did all of the harder trails himself (dragon, beast etc) whilst I enjoyed some peace and quiet in our motorhome. He had 2 punctures but knowing what he’s like he would have attacked everything at top speed. He did say those trails were the highlight of his holiday

Fantastic place well worth a visit. The forest is beautiful, we did the green route, it can be hilly in places so probably not suitable for under 8's unless they are good cyclist's. It takes you right to the waterfall which is beautiful.
The skills tracks are really good fun, our 4 year old managed the green and we enjoyed the blue, we attempted the red but it was above our standard.
The cafe at the visitor centre was good, we had bacon and brie toasties and it's the first time I can remember actually getting enough bacon at a place like this. The vegan cake was amazing also and I'm not a vegan. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, having a good chat with us.
All in all I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Staff were all very knowledgable and super helpful. Helped us chose a trail which matched our ability.

Stopped and had lunch in the restaurant, sat on the balcony looking out over park-delicious, reasonably priced food and a spectacular view!

This visitor centre is well staffed, beautifully clean, excellent facilities .

Popped in for a quick walk with the family.

Staff at the reception were quite miserable, to the point that we didn't stop for drink or refreshments.

My favourite part of the visiting is the 7km walking. The route has so many wonderful sceneries, including great pine trees, magnificent waterfalls, pine logs stacks etc. The route is quite challenging especially the part with so many moving stones. There are plenty of parking spaces in the visiting centre. It charges £2 for the first two hours then incremental 20p per 10 minutes with a cap of maximum £7 per day. It's better to buy the parking ticket from the machine in the tourist center before you leave, which could save you some money. There are toilets in the centre as well, which are free to the public. Bike rental and riding are very popular in the centre and the route is quite challenging as there are a lots of up hills.
