Gilfach Farm offers two self catering properties as well as many outdoor adventure activities. We stayed in Ty Gwennol the beautiful barn conversion that was formally a cow shed. This wonderful old stone built barn has been totally renovated and extended to offer three spacious twin bedrooms, a large living room and huge farm house kitchen. The whole conversion has been done wonderfully with new oak flooring with under floor heating, oak doors, contemporary kitchen and bathrooms but it retains some fabulous original features such as exposed stone and ancient oak beams. The barn is very well equipped for eight people with integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and 5 burner hob as well as a tumble dryer.
The property was presented immaculately, everything was spotlessly clean and the towels and bed linen were good quality. There is a small pretty garden with outside table and seating that has views out over a meadow (where cattle frequently graze) to the sea and the Llyn peninsular. The owners Lesley and Roger really have thought of everything and as they live nearby they are a great source of local information should you want it.
