Quaint, secluded location, excellent for us and our two dogs. Well equipped and really comfy bed. Thank you for our stay, 2nd time we have visited and will again.x
I love this cottage, so peaceful, such lovely view from the cottage. Comfortable, love the soft matteress. I have stayed here twice a year for the last four year.
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage to have as our base whilst walking the Wales Coastal Path. It was lovely to be able to sit and eat outside to ale the most of the good weather we had.
Our second stay at this peaceful and tranquil cottage with lovely walks and sea views, fantastic local beaches highly recommend Tony’s pizza restaurant.
A bottle of wine on arrival, a perfect week away.
This is the forth time I have stayed here, so peaceful and relaxing . just walking the dog down the track with nothing but sheep and lambs to break the silence..
Everything you could wish for , the beach so close and the sea view from the cottage.
Sam, the manager of the cottage was extremely welcoming, communicative and amenable and apologised for the lane up to the cottage being a bit tricky due to a tree that had fallen in recent storms. She was awaiting the availability of a JCT to remove it. We carefully drove around it which was possible. Due to the decreased width of the lane due to the fallen tree she had been unable to use her trailer to put gravel down in the pot holes that are all the way down the lane but apologised for this. It was wet and the pot holes were quite deep with water, the lane was also very muddy. It was an off-roading experience, to be tackled very slowly, but I'm sure it will be repaired to a more acceptable state soon.
Sam also apologised for the bedding which had been laundered but had some marks on and she offered to change it for a fresh set.
The good features of the cottage are that its very quiet, just the sheep, birds and distant sea. Views lovely too but garden needs attention front and back as this detracts from the overall feel of the cottage. The underfloor heating in the cottage was very welcome as were the logs for the wood burner in the evenings.
The sofa in the lounge was old and uncomfortable and there were no soft cushions but Sam did say that they were awaiting a new one when the driveway was clear of the tree.
The location for us was super, not easy to walk to anywhere in wet weather you would need wellies or sturdy waking boots, but fine in dry weather, local amenities good, great to take your dog and enjoy a quiet break.
