Not enough superlatives to describe what a truly wonderful place this beautiful cottage is or indeed the wonderful host Linda who is so helpful and friendly.
A lovely welcome pack of treats with everything we could possibly need to settle in and look forward to the week ahead,
We came for quiet relaxation ........and with the help of the fabulous hot-tub and the most comfortable and luxurious bed we had ever slept in were not disappointed .
The garden is beautiful, whether in the daytime or illuminated with fairy lights in the dark.
We could go on but would only be repeating the many other 5 star reviews of this fabulous place.. ..... Thank-you so much Linda for making our stay perfect in every way and we're already looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Can only say this was outstanding. Perfect for that much needed bit of quiet time. We are returning in September to celebrate our BabyMoon! Although Linda doesn't know this yet ;)
Surprise! Haha, can't wait to return x
We stayed at Llwyn Ynn cottage for a week early April. This is the second time we have stayed and will definitely return. The bedroom is beautiful and Linda makes sure everything looks perfect on arrival. There are robes and slippers for the hot tub and Welshcakes in the kitchen and wine in the fridge!! We explored the area by car and by train from Talybont station (10 minute walk from the cottage). It is a beautiful walk down to the beach via the fields along the river.
Tony's Italian (5 minute walk) was lovely for a meal (also does very nice takeaway pizzas) and we also ate in the Ysgethin Inn pub (also 5 minute walk). The cottage is tucked away and you wouldn't know it was there which makes it so peaceful and especially lovely in the hot tub watching the bats and listening to the sound of the river and the local cows!
We also went to Zip World zip wiring and climbing through the caverns - would recommend if you feel energetic and want to do something different. We went on the Ffestiniog Railway to Caernarvon - a beautiful ride up through Snowdonia.
Also recommend Norbar (35 minute walk) - a lovely bar, very nice food, with stunning views of the fields and beach and a great place to watch the sunset.
There is so much more to explore on our return - thank you Linda.
Beautiful cosy cottage close to amazing beaches and lovely walks. Linda was an excellent friendly host and the welcome pack was very thoughtful. Will definitely return.
We booked wanting to just relax for a few days, and that is exactly what we got. We feel we have stayed much longer as we are now so chilled out. Linda is the perfect host, she has thought of everything and made our stay perfect. She is on hand next door if you need her and is such a lovely friendly lady. Linda your property is just a delight, and so idyllic. We just loved sitting in the hot tub, watching the amazing wildlife. We even saw the squirrel. This place is just perfectly located, five minutes from the pub or the Italian, and some lovely walks if you fancy it. We even had some lovely sunshine. Thank you Linda for everything, all the little touches are much appreciated, ie wine, chocolates and Welsh cakes. Also for allowing our late check in. We cannot wait to revisit again in September. Your garden looked lovely in Feb, so cannot wait to see how beautiful it will be in September. Keep up your good work and we will see you soon.
We keep returning to this wonderful cottage ( this was our 6th visit ) and,as always, it was just perfect. It is central to everything ( a couple of miles into Barmouth and a few more to Harlech ) and yet you can wander along the river at the rear of the cottage, in almost total isolation. The cottage has everything that you could ever need, so no need to worry if you've forgotten to bring something and Linda can give you any advice about the best local places to visit.
