I've brought my kids here for years, a staple in their growing up. Very well laid out and set up, super value and loads of things to do. A great way to spend a few hours

We - like many others - looked at "Top 10 attractions" and this was listed as one of them. Unfortunately, as other reviews suggest this place has perhaps had its day. It clearly does work in breeding sea life and hospitalising sea creatures too, but as an attraction it is unfortunately limited.
We walked through the place in 10 minutes - no exaggeration - and I asked my girlfriend if we had missed a room or something!?
The price was £7.50 each and another Sea place in Cheshire - not too far away - probably charges double this but that price is reflected in the attraction and spending a couple of hours there.
It's a shame, but this is overpriced (probably to survive) but only suitable to very small children who would be interested in the limited range of sealife from the UK's waters.

Four of us went here on our visit to north Wales as it was raining and it was in the top ten attractions and we were horrified with the appalling standard of this attraction. Not only was it the most expensive attraction we went to (£30 for four adults) compared to other attractions in north Wales such as the castles which are far superior and cheaper it was thoroughly disappointing. It is small and run down and none of the fish are very interesting. I am a big fan of zoos and sea life centres and have been to a lot, none of which are as bad as this. Half of the 'zoo' is filled with 'specimens', just dirty tanks filled with juvenile animals in small containers.

It is a total rip off, definitely go to a castle if you want a great attraction in north Wales. This place cannot seriously be considered a zoo, surely the worst attraction of north Wales!
